What is Smartydog TicTac Toe?

T# is an exciting game of strategy & skill played on a life sized Tic Tac Toe board. ( We call the game T3)

Dogs are left on a stay at one end of the board.  Handlers call their dogs from the other end of the board  stopping them on a chosen square performing  specific behaviors to win the square.

I have played Tic Tac Toe, it is an incredibly boring game, what makes T3 exciting?

T3 is played with a deck of Challenge Cards.  Each player recieves 6 challenge cards The Challenge Cards determine what commands need to be achieved to win the square for your team.

Your team mate(s) and you can trade cards picking the best strategy for the game based on individual skills.  Some dogs may be better at down while other dogs might be better at sit.

Commands include Sit your dog, down your dog, stand your dog.

(Advanced games may include sending your dog out around or doing a trick to earn a square.)

The two things that makse the game interesting and fun are

1. The square is never a "given" as it has to be earned by complotting the challenge command.

2. The Challenge Cards include  "Bump'Em" cards that can be played to change an X into and O.

The "Bump Card" is played with a  Challenge Card, .  You must execute the challenge in order to bump the other tean.  (Bump cards cannot be used to execute "the win")

Okay sounds fun...
What skills does my dog need to play the game?

1.
Dogs need to start with a good stay with you walking approximately 10 feet from them

2. Dogs should practice the "sit" ", down" and  "stand" commands from 10 to 12 feet from you

3. Teach yo  rdog to walk towards you slowly and stop on command.  Being able to control your dogs speed and having the ability to stop them increases their sucess at doing your commands

.4.  Teach your dog to sit, down or stop/ stand while walking towards you.
